Aloe Vera Body Scrub

My sister has psoriasis and I think my brother-in-law has eczema. From doing some research on line, I learned aloe vera aids psoriasis and eczema prone skin. So far NOTHING works for them. Not Cetaphil, not Eucerin, nothing. So this year for Christmas, I would like to create body scrubs and body creams for them to use on a weekly basis to get their skin looking and feeling smoother during and after their showers.

So far, these are the ingredients I am mixing together:

-Pure Aloe Vera Leaf Extract (I extracted it myself, thanks to youtube
-Organic Sugar (to exfoliate dead skin cells)
and a lot of extra oils to create moisture in the skin

So far, I am mixing all these ingredients by hand.

This is something I completely came up with and I hope I'm doing this right. Any suggestions for psoriasis or eczema prone skin would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!

Do I miss something here?

I do not believe that home made products are highly effective to cure your skin sickness. I have many reasons for this.

Hey, I have psoriasis and while these type of creams may calm the flare ups of psoriasis i would recommend that you remove the sugars as my experience shows that the irritation of the skin makes psoriasis worse. Keeping the skin hydrated is a perfect job for the aloe vera and oils that you mention but to remove the dead skin i would suggest a mild steroid cream and a heavy dose of sunshine and relaxation.
