Aloe Vera Eye Drops?

Postby Grumpy2000 on Tue Dec 23, 2008 4:11 am

Hello,
Any idea where I can buy Aloe Vera eye drops?
I heard they are really good for the eyes.
I know some people make their own, but I am not that "advanced" (and I wouldn't trust putting in my eye a home made eye drop :))

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!!

Hi Grumpy and welcome to the forum!

I don't believe there's any brand producing aloe vera eye drops, but if they you can be sure they add chemicals for preservation. Aloe vera is great for eye inflammations, ulcerations, alkaline or acid burns, infections, and cataracts.

Check this out for futher reference: http://books.google.com/books?id=zqwL83 ... #PPA248,M1
Did you know that... ?
[*] the word aloe means “never die”
[*] you can get 6 aloe products and an aloe vera plant for free from this website.

Thanks Mr. Aloe Vera ... I was interested in the drops because I occasionally have red eyes cause by a pinguecula I have .... I read somewhere that Aloe Vera drops might be soothing, that is why I was looking for the liquid/drops version .... I know most, if not all, have preservatives which are not too good for the eyes.

Thanks

Also, I had read that article before, interesting, but unfortunately I do not believe I can make my own drops :( I don't know how (even though the website explains it, it's not easy).
Thanks

Hello Grumpy, you need not prepare the Aloe Vera eye drops yourself. FLP have excellent eye cleaner
called" Aloe Activator".The liquid is to be diluted with the equal quantity of pure water and put into the eyes ,in drops. This is an excellent way to treat your eye problem. FLP uses the stabilized Aloe Vera jel
which is a sure sign of purity and quality.
Hope this helps you.

Do not use any medically unapproved drops for for your eyes. Aloe vera is wonderful for allowing stressed or irritated skin to heal. Aloe is ultimately a healing remedy. So, if you are suffering from redness and irritation from something, Aloe is wonderful treatment for it. Don't get anything in your eyes, though.

Just remind you Aloe Activator is not "eye drops" but make up cleaner only. Anyway, I am using also as eye drops when I am too long behind my computer. It is great product, but originally invented for make up not for eyes.
