I want to Grow Aloe Vera. I am from Kathmandu,Nepal. I haven't seen Aloe Vera plants grown here but looking upon the benefits of Aloe Vera plant I am also interested to grow it. I would like to know what type of suitable environment we must give for a better Aloe Vera growth. Winter's about to start and it's very chilling out here in Kathmandu at winter days.
You can just plant it in a large pot and take the pot inside when winter gets rough. Be sure to place the pot indoor in chambers with good lighting and good airing and be careful not to overwater your plant.
The ideal soil is fat soil mixed with sand.
Did you know that... ? [*] the word aloe means “never die” [*] you can get 6 aloe products and an aloe vera plant for free from this website.
I have known about Aloe Vera for over 20 years ... from my grandfather who used to practice a bit of alternate medicine... he used to speak such high of this wild plant ( wild in our areas ) that I was fascinated with it... but never tried... until now because of a very strong but unfortunate reason.
I would like to grow aloe vera in my house for personal use.
My question is...
1. Are there varieties of Aloe Vera..in different countries.... like different members from same family?...or is it the Vera we are talking about from the Aloe family?...its Global.
2. If there is another different member... do they also posses the miraculous effects?
3. Any distinguishing features... that would identify the plant in question here?
Would appreciate your answer from the experts here...
